We have partnerships with leading vendors; we serve as a single point of
contact for any RFID hardware. We can recommend, source and implement the
appropriate technologies to guarantee your hardware infrastructure integrates
with your systems. We can also determine the size of the RFID network, one that
can scale based on your future growth. In addition to our professional
services, we also offer a series of onsite workshops that are knowledge
transfer sessions designed to enable you to come up to speed quickly on our
technologies and best practices.
In the last few years, technological developments and more recently, industry
standardization, have centered on high frequency (13.56 MHz) and Ultra High
Frequency (868-915 MHz) systems development. e-Xseed Technologies focuses on
these two frequencies. Each of these frequencies has strong price/performance
trade-offs that relate to specific applications. RFID tags are today generally
sold at very low prices, depending on volume, function and packaging.
High Frequency -- 13.56 MHz -- has a good price/performance
profile for item-level track and trace applications requiring a relatively
medium read range (up to 1 meter) at low cost. Current uses are library items,
laundry linen, box or crate level supply-chain, waste management, LPG
cylinders, automobile secured ID plates, and numerous other applications. The
13.56 MHz frequency has the advantage of having almost universal regulatory
characteristics across all geographies. We are working in the following
protocol.
High Frequency Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) -- 868MHz (Europe) or
915 MHz (USA) -- has good price/performance characteristics for long read range
applications (several meters) such as pallet tracking. In addition to pallet
tracking, RFID systems at this frequency are used with batteries for electronic
toll collection, and tracking of containers.
